Register for an exploration into Earth’s deep past at the Rowan Fossil Park Community Dig Day on Saturday, September 10! Register online here.

There will be four 2-hour dig sessions for explorers of all ages at 9:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. View fossils found at this site, talk with Rowan paleontologists about their research and visit Fossil Park Store. In the quarry you will dig for 65-million-year-old fossils with your own hands…and take them home!

Admission to the event is $5.00 per person. All registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with all necessary information, including a Receipt of Purchase, Site Waiver Form for all in your group, and Guest Information Sheet (directions, parking and other details). Please bring the completed site waiver form and receipt of purchase to check in as proof of your confirmed registration.
If you know other people who may be interested, please have them go to rowan.edu/fossils to sign up for information. At this time, the Fossil Park is not open to the public. We host an annual Community Dig Day and school tours, and look forward to expanding opportunities for visits soon.
