6 years ago6 years agoThis fossil has really been a mystery.i found it in webster south dakota,along most the roadsĀ there are small boulders made of limestone.thats where i found this one.breaking open the boulders.you never know what youll find.ive found many fossils there.but ive never seen one like this.i hope someone can help me.thanks

6 years ago6 years agoI have no idea what this is.can someone please help me on this one? This one and two other smaller specimens were in a peice of limestone i had broken open from rocks that were put on the side of the road as erosion control leading to the lake beach where i went fossil hunting and agate hunting.

6 years ago6 years agoAnd of course,who knows where these fossils from day county south dakota originated from being dragged along by a glacier.they probably originated in canada.
