This is an awesome find! Are those minerals inside of the circular area? I’ve been wondering about that
Hey I updated the photos, you tell me. I didn’t know what horn coral was until 2 days ago lol
Sweet!! I’m learning too lol. So I found this site, just a pretty cool one in my search (1) and this other site that says yes, minerals can grow in the empty spaces left and it’s common in sea urchin, brachiopods and bivalves (2). It’s a really sweet find and great updates shots!!
