I’m very excited about my find n would like if anyone can help me understand what I’m looking at. I’m a beginner n I think I see fossils but not sure..Thanks.. #fossil
that has a very nice crystalline texture! Unfortunately, I don’t think there are any fossils in there, they tend to be found in sandstones or mudstones. From what I can tell, you’ve got a little hunk of quartz, with some plagioclase (a mineral that is slightly milkier-looking than quartz) and possibly some biotite (the brown colouring in it) as well. Nice crystal, though!
