This is not a fossil of course but a theory on human and animal relationships that I came up with and wanted to share. Monkeys and apes, as well as their ancestors groomed members of their own species to socialize, relieve stress, and bond. Is it possible that people love petting animals because it’s similar to the grooming that their ancestors and relatives did, and as a result relieves stress, socializes, and bonds with the animal? I know this may not be the best place to put this but it has some to do with evolution so you could put input. Also the app crashed whenever I tried to post a photo from my library so I had to settle for a picture of a picture.
