@jaymz-claypool This foliage type is called Pecopteris. Most Pecopteris morphospecies belong to true ferns. However, there is at least one species that belongs to a seed fern (extinct group). Because plants shed parts, it can be hard to know exactly what plant it belonged to. If I can find the species, I might be able to tell you the plant if a reconstruction has been done.
