Why is it green? It’s not algae, I didn’t find it by any water source and it doesn’t come off.
The kind of chemical reaction in the rock I think
It’s only on one side, the other side is speckled black and white and it’s more grainy. The green side is almost like a slab.
@mary-davis-2 probably some mineral like serpentenite. Common in certain metamorphic rocks.
