    Making Fossil Squid Ink 

     

    In this video we do something a little different. We make ink from fossilised squid ink. This is something that has been done before (by Mary Anning herself none the less!) but not from specimens of the Kimmeridge Clay. We are exploring ideas for the future of our ink, this will involve lots of refining to improve it’s usefulness. For now though, we hope you enjoy watching our little experiment.
