Hey Kate, nice fossil!! Though it’s too fragmentary to ID it too deeply, I think we can safely say it is a mollusc fossil. You can put that into the Taxon Wizard as Mollusca. If you’d be open to us adding it to our research database, you’ll need to complete a few more steps. First, you’ll need to take a picture of it next to a scale (ruler or coin). Next, if you can remember where it was found specifically you should use the app or website Rockd to find out the age and formation for lithostratigraphy and geochronology.
