In this weeks video Dr Steve Etches MBE looks at a fossil not everyone is familiar with, Aptychi. This shell like looking fossils can be quite deceptive but actually part of an ammonite. They are a common find in the Kimmeridge Clay and yet still remain a bit of an enigma regarding their use.
