It’s a rock
lol
Heads do not fossilize except in 1 in a billion circumstances. Even skulls are usually found in scattered pieces.
want to say… I live super close to the Petrified Forest in Arizona… and to Meteor Crater in Arizona.
my “rocks” are the same color as the “rocks” at the Petrified Forest.
also they are super heavy, heavier than other “rocks” it’s same size… I have also found a bunch of shell fossil’s n what to me looks like teeth I’ll post some
Hi Maria, finally I found someone finding the same stuff as me, I believe what you have there is a cast or mold fossil of a critter from the past I have many like the one you have and I have many that are exact replicas of the animal mostly amphibians crustaceans and reptiles and mostly heads do some research on cast and mold fossils and the area you found it in and it will explain a lot and why most of the time you just find the head,ya they are just rocks but they are in my opinion some of the coolest hope this helps you out, don’t give up the search
