From the photos, they couldn’t see any fossil signs, and think it’s possible that it’s just an unusual rock. You could try adding the photos to our “What is it?” forum, and see if other community members have a better suggestion: https://www.myfossil.org/forums/forum/3-what-is-it/
Hi, @tom-skimina, I agree with @sadie-mills and your geochronology and lithostratigraphic information are at odds. The Borden is a formation in the Mississippian not the Ordovician.
