Charlie Smith commented on their own Fossil #033919 6 years, 1 month ago
6 years, 1 month ago6 years, 1 month agoCrinoid stems in a matrix of limestone. The lens cap is 4 cm in diameter for scale. These fossils were found in the severely folded strata at the clifts of Loughshinny, south of the harbor/beach.
Hi, @charlie-smith, Am I correct in assuming these crinoid fragments remain in situ rather than in your personal collection?
Hi, Jennifer
Yes, your assumption is correct. The other crinoid fossil from Loughshinny I uploaded also remains in situ.
