Hi Bruce. I’m acquiring the petrified wood from friends. I originally thought you wanted Metasequoia leaves… that’s what I have. It certainly much easier to identify. The wood is more difficult as most experts don’t really know how to tell the difference from Metasequoia and their cousins in the Taxodiacaea family. Never-the-less, I have people responding and as soon as I can get them, I’ll send them off to you. When is the absolute latest you can receive them? and if necessary, will leaves do in a pinch?
