Ophiomorpha are interpreted as a burrow that has been lined with fecal pellets to better support the burrow! Any guesses as to what animals would live in burrows like these? #fossil

Correct! It was likely some sort of crustacean that made this burrow!

Haha!!! Well, I’m not sure how smelly feces would be under water! Sadie was right, it was likely a crustacean that made the burrow.
