5 years, 4 months ago5 years, 4 months agoHere is a graphic to help with echinoid photography and (some) morphology. This is an irregular echinoid, meaning they have bilateral symmetry rather than pentameral. For photography, one petal (ambulacrum) is pointing up- it should always be III (3). The anus (periproct) should be pointing down. Check it out @sadie-mills! #fossil
