Acheroraptor was described from a single maxilla and associated dentary. Isolated Dromaeosaurid elements from the Hell Creek Fm. turn up from time to time, but no other post crania has been described to date. This manus ungual (hand claw) is most likely from Acheroraptor, but additional more complete specimens are needed to confirm. This one is part of our research collection and came from a quarry we have been working for the last 9 years. This quarry is known as the “Tooth Draw Quarry”, a polyspecific channel lag deposit with abundant Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, and Thescelosaurus material.
