    The Phylogeny of the Fissiculate Blastoids by Breimer and Macurda 1972. I have spent the last five years with these critters in my mind. One day I was so frustrated by not being able to find this book to purchase online that I emailed Brad Macurda and asked if he had an extra copy. HE DID! And of his addition to this, another monograph in 1983. He signed and sent them both to me. Both very influential pieces of work.

        Thanks, @jkallmeyer. I agree, the personal note and really nice contact with Brad Macurda really made me feel good about myself and my work. He has been really supportive and fun to chat blastoids with.
