      Hi David, I think your common name and specific epithet is incorrect. It is likely White Shark and C. carcharias if you would like to confirm and edit this fossil entry.

        Not a white shark and there is a Carcharodon hubbelli, but this is not it. Family – Otodontidae, Genus – Carcharocles or Otodus (I’ll accept either), Specific Epithet – megalodon (it is an anterior tooth)
