    Same egg like fossil from NY state. Would love to know what it is if anyone has ideas.

      Hi, @melissa-calvert – what makes you think this is an egg? Most of the bed rock in NY are ancient oceans or really old metamorphic rock (no fossils). It’s likely this is a concretion or a really worn rock rather than an egg. Fossilized eggs are incredibly rare, sadly.
