4 years, 8 months ago4 years, 8 months agoThe fossil history at HANAUMA BAY on the island of Oahu was probably formed in the Pleistocene—but, about 45,000 years ago a volcanic eruption exploded the reef creating a bay—it quickly filled with water and now a marine reserve for all to enjoy. Illustration east and west sides of the bay with it’s volcanic layers and 2 bottom photos illustrates the coral and shell fragments embedded in the lava rock. No Sea life or items are allowed to be taken only photographs and memories…
