I think that is a horse tooth.
I might add thats it’s only 3/4″ long

everything I search for shows horse teeth that are much larger. Does that mean it’s a baby horse tooth?
It’s hard to tell the size without a scale bar of some sort. Can you provide a picture with something for scale? Pencil, coin? Thanks!
It’s exactly 3/4″ long. For some reason I can’t add another picture to the post like i have done before.
I’m guessing if it had the twin roots it would be about 1″
Hi, @brent-hawkins – it’s because you didn’t make this image a fossil specimen – if you want to add in taxonomic, location, or other data you can click ‘add to my fossil gallery’ and then you will get those options and the ability to add multiple images.
