@mackenzie-smith Thank you! It was a phenomenal find. I wish I could narrow down the taxonomy because it’s such a strange discovery.
@Mackenzie-smith I’ve been doing some browsing recently and I may have come up with a proximate ID for the pygidium. To me it looks remarkably like that of a Lichida trilobite. It looks very similar to the Arctinurus boltoni specimen from wikipedia page of the same name. Any thoughts on my estimation?
Based on principles of anatomical symmetry,I thinks it’s safe to assume the pygidium originally possessed 6 total spines as in Arctinurus.
