bivalve
Brachiopods. A brachiopod shell shows symmetry (equal left and right parts). A bivalve shell cannot be cut in identical left and right parts. Bivalve symmetry is between shells (the hinge). Usually the “beak” in a bivalve curves to one side.
thse are Ordovician brachiopods. Valandostophia poderosa.
