Hi @david-hanes! I’m pretty sure from the photos this is a raccoon tibia. Take a look at some photos online (or this 3D model https://virtualcurationmuseum.wordpress.com/making-no-bones-about-it-making-no-bones-about-it-why-zoorchaeologists-study-animal-bones-found-at-archaeological-sites/virtualizing-a-raccoon-skeleton/raccoon-tibia/) and compare your specimen with those. I can’t find any records of a fossil raccoon from Mississippi which is why I think these specimens may be more recent than Pleistocene.
