Thanks for uploading your specimens! In order to curate them as research grade and scientifically relevant on myFOSSIL we will need some additional information:
– Clear image with a scale-bar for reference on the dimensions of the fossil.
– Classification of specimen to the highest degree possible. We can also help ID with FOSSILblitz video conferencing hours as well as the comment sections!
– Location of where the fossil was found using latitude and longitude coordinates as well as closest city. Where the fossil was found is crucial information.
– Any geologic information to put the fossil in context (i.e., geologic unit, geologic formation, age). Macrostrat.org is a good reference for this.
