Need a less contrasty (dark) image. You can use any number of free image software to improve the image. Best to take images of a dark tooth against a light background and vice versa. Lack of lateral cusplets make this hard to positively ID

Yeah, sun was going down. I’ll take a better one today. I didn’t ID the tooth but I agree with it, it’s got that classic Otodontid root shape. Two round lobes with a U in between. There were cusps at one point, they have worn off at some point. I am told these are found in hard rock.
