    Please help ID. Found on Toledo Bend Reservoir in Louisiana. Thinking possible Hobodus shark dorsal fin.

      Hi, @Nina-Champion, I don’t think this is a fossil fin as fins are made of cartilage and very rarely fossilize. It could have some fossils in it though, as that black streak could be a cross section of something.
