The species S. falcatus and S. kaupi represent a bucket species which includes more than one species, neither of which have been well defined. This and the other teeth appear to represent the same species (if found together maybe even the same animal). These teeth do not match well against either what has been called S. kaupi or S. falcatus. Squalicorax sp. maybe more reasonable. For that reason, they are very interesting.
