Just a rock
With erosion lines
yes
@smudge-smith which means what?
erm, meaning that it’s a rock with erosion lines
@leonardo-miranda im from Denmark and I cant translate that word
oh, sorry. erosion is when rock has marks on it due to being rasped away by other rocks or also water.
I mean I agree with @a-trilobite
Hi there @noah-haumann this is indeed a rock with erosion lines! Sometimes interestingly shaped rocks can appear to look like fossils! One trick is to look for the mineralization that occurs with fossilization! Or, if it is a trace fossil (an imprint of a fossil), usually the fossil isn’t “carved” into the rock like these erosion lines, but rather imprinted into it. Hope this helps!
