Benjamin de Vries has contributed specimen mFeM 86792 to myFOSSIL!
seems a little big for a Wareolestes.
The jaw that was found of wareolestes was 2cm. That jaw was from a juvenile. This one is 4cm, so this one would be of an adult. Thx @leonardo-miranda
That’s a possibility. still, l am doubtful as to whether it’s one or not. more images might help
does it have a honeycomb pattern inside? it might be rock if not
Its stuck in the rock so i can’t see the inside, but i see little bones and teeth in the skull so i’m sure it’s not a rock. @leonardo-miranda.
@matthew-gramling could you help me id this? Thx!
Greetings @benjamin-devries ! I concur with @leonardo-miranda about add further images. At first glance, I see nothing suggesting it’s bone and certainly nothing I would class as diagnostic features to provide a specific ID
