Ammonite?
Greetings @jessica-alexander ! Certainly resembles one.
But, the strata around Whitehouse is Eocene so it seems unlikely.
My aunt found this in Fort Worth
Hi there @jessica-alexander this does have an ammonite type shape! It is rather worn, but Jurassic-age ammonites can be found in Texas! Sites like macrostrat.org are good resources for looking into this!
definitely ammonites
Thank you all!!
Fort Worth Limestone and Duck Creek Formation are known for their marine fossils, especially ammonites .
