Really
From where

???
@jack-parker-tyreman if you want Helen to awnser you need to tag her. u ll do it for you now @helen-hopkins
but about the fossil was it found in clay/rock or near shore?
I found it slogged into a massive mud block that has fallen out the cliff and been dug out by someone and I just spotted it wedged in and quickly picked it up and carried on.
well, the only thing to do now is to take it to a museum to identify it. there is nothing that suggests that it is a flipper bone instead of a coincidentally shaped rock, but at the same time there’s no evidence that suggests it isn’t. with this 50/50 evidence the best thing to do is ask the true experts.
I’m eager to hear results, so if you ever get around to doing that I’d love it if you’d let me know! 😉
Sure
if someone else did it then it’s probably isolated bone. I’d like to hear the results as well1
