@leonardo-miranda had the same creature posted on here a while ago, no one knew what it was until someone else posted one and we all researched and figured it out. Unfortunately, no one on Leonardo’s posts commented what it was, and the person who posted it the second time was a one time user of this app, so the post is lost way down the feed unless someone remembers who it was. Or, if Leonardo knows the name of it. If not, we’ll just have to research again.
@a-trilobite thanks for tagging me, the animal was identified as a conulariid. this here, however, I’m not so sure. it looks slightly different, but l can’t see what else it could be. so for now, I’ll say it’s a conulariid just like mine.
@daniel-park no, spriggina was soft bodied, and it’s fossils were always faint imprints (mold) in what was soft mud. This is a raised 3d fossil (cast) and is hard-bodied. Also the pattern matches conulariids rather than a spriggina.
I used to think it was of a fish but I’m not too sure anymore

Okay thank you so much
@a-trilobite I think you mentioned spriggina once too, could this possibly be one?

the markings do seem to match the first one much better. There are also edges to it, so there’s a pyramid shape to it, similar to the first as well
Then it’s definitely a conulariid
Very neat!
