Better?
That’s better, but I don’t know what it could be. Two rows of small circles that are identical in size, but the rows are too long to be a mouth or group of teeth. My only guess would be an odd molar of some kind, although the fossil appears to be curved and may have distorted a few details. Maybe @leonardo-miranda @chloe-geddes or @daniel-park could help
Maybe a sea urchin
Thank you guys. My 7 year old found it and is truly over the moon that he has finally discovered a fossil. It could be a unicorn for all that matters to him is that it’s a genuine fossil. Thanks for your help 😀
this is just bizarre, definitely one of the strangest fossils I’ve seen posted here. l have no idea what it is, but am definitely curious. all l can think of now is octopus suckers, funnily enough.
Could it be a halysite chain coral?
Chain coral seems the most likely, I’ve never heard of one before but pictures match with what you have
Honestly not sure. I guess it could be coral, hmm
Great find! I am so glad to hear he is excited!! Hopefully he finds many more!! ☺️☺️
