You are racking up the awesome Paleozoic finds. Trilobite pygidium, which looks very familiar. @nathan-newell maybe able to help.
Hi, @sam-turner and @matthew-gramling ! I think this is a Pseudogygites pygidium:

The latitude and longitude made it much easier to look up the formation on Rockd, so good job Sam! This looks like it came from the Lindsay Formation (Middle Ordovician) so you can use that to fill in the Geochronology section if you’d like:

Thanks @matthew-gramling ! I’ve almost exhausted my sock drawer of fossils I’ve stumbled on to post though, hopefully, I’ll find some more this summer. I’m glad someone mentioned this site on iNaturalist, everyone has been very helpful and I’m starting to pick the terminology/customs.
Thanks @nathan-newell , that looks spot on (though I haven’t looked at many pygidiums lol). I’ve downloaded Rockd and plan on checking it out soon.
Most welcome @sam-turner! Thanks for posting such interesting specimens. And thank you @nathan-newell for you help with an ID.
@sam-turner @matthew-gramling No problem! Glad I could help!
