      There is some debate on this. This is a Cretaceous version of Otodus obliquus. However, some authors put it under Cretalamna and seem to be of the opinion that Otodus evolved out of this and somehow changed names after the K-Pg boundary. I don’t. I have some from other Maastrictian locales but this is the first I have seen from this location.
