What kind of a shark tooth is this, I think its a great white but I’m not 100% sure #fossil

    • I adjusted the brightness and contrast and looked at it. I am guessing it is about an inch long. The presence of a prominent burlette (which Great Whites do not have) and fine even serrations indicate that is is a Carcharhinid of some kind, possibly Carcharhinus longimanus or Carcharhinus leucas although I am leaning towards longimanus. Either way it is not a fossil.

    • ok, thanks, and yes I know its not a fossil, lol
