    Mark Breads has contributed specimen mFeM 100327 to myFOSSIL!

    • Greetings @mark-breads ! This is a unique specimen for sure. My best guess is that it is a trilobite or similar arthropod.

    • This is very interesting, I don’t think you’ll get a good answer here. My guess is that You’d have to ask an expert. My guess is some kind of arthropod, but that’s very vague. I’m just not sure about the pattern but especially unsure about the coloration.

    • Do you know the age of the area you found this, it could be a spriggina but that’s a long shot

    • @a-trilobite Kansas City Group is Mississippian to Pennsylvanian in age, so we can preclude spriggina. Does look similar however.

    • What’s funny is I’ve been mowing around these rocks for three years and decided to move them to use elsewhere and they are full of bryozoan And brachiopods and one other thing I can’t figure out will clean and post later!
