    • @charles-du Hard to tell with this one. Part of me leans toward a concretion of some kind then another part leans strongly towards cephalopods like Ellesmerocerida.

    • @mathew-gramling thanks for responding. I believe that it’s cephalopod because of my area, it’s rich in Devonian and Ordovician fossils. Also there are many of the same specimens in the area identical or whole. I looked into both of your suggestions & I’m thinking it looks more like Plectronocerida to me but i am unsure. Any opinions or confirmations welcome.

    • @charles-du It’s a possibility, but most Plectronocerids seemed to be confined to the Upper Cambrian. So, older than the strata you are collecting in.
