Nadia Crocker has contributed specimen mFeM 57579 to myFOSSIL!
Hi, @nadia-crocker – here is the data for the specific locality: https://macrostrat.org/map/#/z=14.0/x=-82.3406/y=29.6705/bedrock/lines/
Lemon sharks would likely be Negaprion brevirostris, which I can tag in shark experts on if you are interested in confirming this identification.
Talk to you soon,
Not a lemon shark. This is an upper tooth of a Carcharhinus species but due to the wear, it is difficult to narrow down exactly which species.
