GSA 2016 Short Course: Facilitating effective STEM learning and public engagement in paleontology

Join us in Denver, CO, for a FOSSIL-sponsored short course on best practices in digitization, incorporating paleontology into K-12 curricula, enhancing amateur involvement, and using social media to mobilize the paleontological community!


Registration deadline is August 22 (can either register for the entire GSA meeting or *just* for the short course)

– Short course will take place on Friday, September 23

– 1:00 to 5:00pm

– Limit is 30 people

– Short course cost is $25 per person

– Earn 0.4 CEU

– Open to amateurs, professionals, college/university students, and K-12 educators
