Fossilized feces, or just an odd rock?

I found this a couple of days ago. After cleaning, the grooves are much deeper than I previously thought. The instant reply from my sister after I sent her the pic was, “looks like poop”. Found near Naselle, WA. I have found fossilized shipworm nearby.
