I found this years ago in SW AR in what im told is the Saratoga Chalk.  Ive found small fossils in the area but nothing prepared me for this one!    Im told its an Ammonite but have not been informed of what kind it is.  Any help would be great!   Thanks

I can’t download the paper, but the species listed includes <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Pachydiscus</span> which is my bet.

I found a PDF of the paper and I think I was right about Pachydiscus — check for yourself.
