Next Wednesday we celebrate National Fossil Day! This year marks the 12th anniversary of National Fossil Day, which was established by the National Park Service in order to bring attention to the value that fossils provide to the geoscience community. This day serves as a celebration where fossil-related events are put on across the United States in order to promote the education of both fossils and paleontology as a whole! Look out for a post on October 13th with more details on how you can celebrate National Fossil Day.
