    I found this embedded in West Cliff in Santa Cruz. Thought it was a rock when I took it and didn’t find out until I examined everything I collected that it looks a whole lot like a bone piece. I took a picture of the cliff before I even found it and have marked it in the picture. So that dates kind of when it was buried. I just would like to know what bone it is broke off of and what creature it could be from. I have a video and more picts of it.

    Unfortunately, I believe this is stone rather than bone.

    Victor, I can understand you thinking that from the 4 photos. I wish I could post the video. With the defined shape and the perfect hole which has characteristics of a <span class=”FCUp0c rQMQod”>foramen. Here is a picture of the inside from a spot that part was broken off that I took with my microscope camera. It shows two interesting features.</span>
