    These were in an Aurora, NC matrix. They are very similar, the one on the right however has tiny serrated edges.

    Hi Kristin,

    I’m almost certain¬†these are bivalve fragments, specifically from a pecten. I do not know much about the Aurora fossils, so I, unfortunately, could not give more of an ID than this. I hope it’s helpful though!

    These are definitely shell fragments.

    @kristin-hsu Yes, these are fragments of a broken pecten shell.  Pectens are found at Aurora
