These are all invertebrates so they don’t have bones. But for feeding the brachiopod (left) has a filter feeding structure called a lophophore. The gastropod (snail) (middle) has a structure called a radula. In herbivorous species it is used to scrape algae but in carnivorous species it is used to drill through bivalves and slurp up their insides.…[Read more]
