3 years, 2 months ago3 years, 2 months agoNorth of Cincinnati Ohio. From an empty lot where I look for fossils. I usually find marine life there, brachiopods, horn coral. But I thought this looked like bone so I thought that was interesting.

Greetings @angie-jones ! From first glance it appears to be a bone fragment, but the strata around Miamisburg is squarely Ordivician. So, as others have said it’s probably a coral fragment.

Go to your specimen on emuseum and then click on images. Then you can drag a new image into the box below. You can also select the image you want displayed as your main image by selecting ‘set as feature’.
