3 months, 3 weeks ago3 months, 3 weeks ago@leonardo-miranda i have identified the second one. It is probably a piece of vertebrae from Mosasaurus hoffmannii. The third one is a piece of femur i think. It has the exact same texture and structure of the finger bone and vertebrae piece. Thx!

not sure about the first ones. the second and third may or may not be bone fragments.

l see why it could be one. have you checked if there is any other animal that was found in the area which might be the owner of that bone instead?

@leonardo-miranda The only animals with this kind of bones were allopleuron and the mosasaurus, but the mosa has way flatter and broader fingerbones. But it is a fossil then? Thx!

it certainly looks fossilised due to the texture and colour

for now, your diagnosis might be sufficient. but remember to take it to a museum to get it properly identified, and see if your theory was right.

It is possible however, human made artifacts are not fossils.
Though not a fossil, it’s very interesting. If does look like the chips were made deliberately. If you contact a local museum, they could give more information on it.
